Hi, my name is Jayson DeNovellis, and this is my site for my Design Cultures and Creativity (DCC) Honors Program! DCC is a two-year program at the University of Maryland that deals with emerging technologies and their impacts on society.
Learn a bit about me!
On this site you will find blog posts and projects that I have completed for three of my classes:
- HDCC 105: Intro to DCC– explored and discussed introductory concepts and ideas in digital media centered around identity, connectivity, social justice, art, and design
- HDCC 208B: DIgital Storytelling– examined and produced various forms of digital storytelling: blog fiction, hypertext narratives, mobile locative narratives, and podcasts
- HDCC 209: Practicum in DCC– completed a semester-long, culminating capstone project, titled What Will You Do?
You can find important pages and projects along the top bar and blog posts in the class links just above.
Even if you have nothing to do with DCC or UMD, welcome! Though the posts you will find here are for class, the information and thoughts contained in them discuss very interesting social and technological concepts and can be a good read for anyone. They can also give you some insights into myself.
Feel free to also contact me regarding anything!
